Kids have some pretty wild imaginations, and the folks over at Inventors! project took notice. They asked over 400 kids to draw their own inventions and asked local manufacturers to make a few of them come to life. Some designs are odd to say the least, but there are a few great ones mixed in.
1. Tooth-O-Matic Original Drawing
This toothbrush actually dispenses the toothpaste directly on the bristles.
Tooth-O-Matic Prototype
We would buy this immediately!
2. Food Cooler Fork Original Drawing
The fork has a built-in fan that helps cool off extremely hot food.
Food Cooler Fork Prototype
Say goodbye to constantly burning your mouth all to hell.
3. Pringles Hook Original Drawing
A little hook is placed inside the Pringles can to help you get all the chips out with ease.
Pringles Hook Prototype
Shut up and take our money!
4. Disco Headphones Original Drawing
The headphones light-up with the music you are listening to — making you a mobile disco ball.
Disco Headphones Prototype
Good idea, but we could see this getting annoying fast.
5. Shady Lamp Original Drawing
The lamp features blinds, instead of the usual shade cover. This allows for more light control without the need for a dimmer switch.
Shady Lamp Prototype
This is something we could really get behind.
6. Shout Activated Camera Original Drawing
The camera is activated by your voice, making for easy selfies!
Shout Activated Camera Prototype
Not what we pictured in our heads, but this idea is pure gold.
7. EZY Slice Fryer Original Drawing
A potato gun uses air to force the spuds through a gate, which instantly cuts them in to fries. The fries then fall in to the oil below and yes, there is a splash guard.
EZY Slice Fryer Prototype
Let's just hope that splash guard is up to snuff!
8. Phone Friend Original Drawing
This mechanical arm stretches the phone out to allow handicapped people to use phone booths.
Phone Friend Prototype
We honestly didn't think public phones still existed. Although, this could help out plenty of people in need.
9. Handy Hi 5 Original Drawing
A mechanical hand swings up to give you a high 5 whenever you want!
Handy Hi 5 Prototype
Perfect for when you're feeling a little down on your luck.
