You Had One Job!
Everyone knows that when it comes to the work grind, it’s inevitable that you’ll have a little slip-up here or there when you’re tuckered out or just not thinking straight for whatever reason, but sometimes those mess ups are actually a bigger deal than expected!
About a decade ago, a new trend in the wellness industry emerged: vending machines that dispended healthy and/or organic foods. These vending machines contain mostly sugar-free, fat-free, and low-calorie options, have less processed/refined foods like whole grains or nuts, and some are even refrigerated so that they can hold fruits and vegetables.
However, in this fail, a vending machine labeled “Healthy Snacks” features literally all super sugary candy.
There is one allegedly “organic” option in the lower left section of the machine by way of Ocho’s Caramel Minis, which they say are made from scratch using fresh organic butter and organic cane sugar and then covered with the finest organic chocolate.” Nonetheless, they still contain a whopping 22 grams of sugar per serving, compared to 18 grams per serving for Snickers Minis.
At the end of the day, this vending machine is probably the least healthy place you could go if you were looking for a small bite to keep your appetite at bay. Nice try, vending machine industry! You don’t fool us!
